EX-SISTER LIGOURI
CASE AGAINST BISHOP.
BY CABLS-FRESB ASSOCIATION -CO PYRWJW SYDNEY, July 1. The Ligouri case was contiaued today. Sister Lijgouri, cross-examined, said the Mother Superior of the Consent; a sister, and a doctor were implicated in a conspiracy to murder h*>.r. Although she had no cold, the bister concerned said to her: "You will die of pneumonia; it is a wonder you are not dead now." Ligouri added that she was .sick for fully a week from the effects of the poison administered her, but, although when she escaped she was interviewed by the police, she did not Miention the alleged attempted poisoning to them. She admitted that when the bishop paid his usual episcopal^visit to the convent she told him sho ,was perfectly contented and happy, bit:; she was forced to say this, as it would not have fared well with her if sh* had said otherwise.
