BT CABLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT \
WASHINGTON, June 10.
Representative Gallivan has introduced a resolution in the House which •would forbid the re-admittance of AdL miral Sims to this country.
Admiral Sims' London speech has created an extraordinary furore in political circles. Politicians from the States where the Irish vote is prominent have launched bitter against the Admiral, 'but on the other hand it is pointed out thalt Mr Harvey (American Ambassador to Britain) was not reprimanded for his speech, which caused almost as great commotion. The conservative Press in Washington regrets that Admiral Sims erred: in the choice of language, but is inclined to think there is a great deal of truth in his remarks.
WASHINGTON, June 11
•' Mr Edwin Denby {Secretary of the Navy) has caibled Admiral Sims that the remainder of his leave is revoked, andi Tie must return to America immediately and report to tthe Secretary of the. Navy.
