RULES FOR TROPHIES.

CHRISTCHURCH. May 10. At a meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Associaton, it was- decided to limit the number of challenge matches played by a defender of ash aid to faur,' and the Nordon Giro to five, the defender in each ease to have the right to apply for further matches. It was decided to bar Canterbury, Wellington, Manawatu, Nelson, Auckland, Otajro, Hawke's Bay, and Waiikato Associations from challenging for the Noidon Cup.
