The American Ambassador attended, and stated his Government had requested him to rejoin the conference .-as a semi-official representative.. . The French Government, in replying to.the German Note regarding Silesia, protests against the nature of the Note, •and adds: "All meastires taken to restore order by the Allied troops were •done as a matter of duty. The situation has improved, and there is no meed for further help whatever, even ».:from Germany."
