H.M.S. CHATHAM.
JSTAPIER, May 9. The flagship -Chatham arrived early this afternoon from Auckland and anchored in the roadstead. Later the mayor amd the chairman of the Harbour Board made a fformal call on Captain Holtham. The cruiser will be open to the public during .certain times while she remains here, and jtfavy League ex-» eursions are being arranged. The Chatham leaves on Friday for Timaru.
