The tnaugular match between- Patea, Wang-anui and Hawera Defence Rifle Clubs took-place at Patea on Saturday. The contest wiis a very close one, Patea eventually winning by three points from "Wans'amu, who 'beat Ham-era bv two points foj- second place.
