The meeting occurred in a house not far from Dublin. Sir James Craig was unarmed and unattended. Sir James Craig disclosed th© result of his meeting with De Valera to the Ulster Unionists in camera, who resolved that Ulster would not make further concessions, hasting accepted the Home Rule Act. Sir James' Craig publHy explains that De Valgra approached him and suggested their' ■meeting.
