Last census, 4400----increase, 542. ' Clifton: 1192 males, 944 females; total 2136. Last census, 1966; increase, Inglewood County: 1691 males, 1446 females; total 3137. The Inglewood County was formed since the last census, part of its area I being taken from the Clifton and Taranaki Counties.; The last census figures | given for the two latter allow for this deduction; the 1916 totals without the ' deduction of area were: Taranaki i 7100; Clifton, 2156. *aranau, The Press Association last night announced the following returns: I n v v 1921 1916! The 1916 total was 11,735 (males 6149, females 5586) The houses in Napier total 3146, including 15 building. The number uninhabited is 81.
