/ LONDON, May 5. Representatives of the navigating and engineering officers, sailors and firemen informed the National Maritime Board that their constituents are accepting from May the reductions in wages cabled on April 22. The stewards refused to accept a reduction of 110s monthly, whereupon the shipowners offered to make a reduction of 50s, which was also refused, causing a deadlock.
