MURDER OF POLICEMEN

' ARRESTS IN GLASGOW,

A man' calledaast s the police barracks and said the body of an old man, who had been murdered, was lying nearby. A ser-1 geant and eight constables went to bring in the body and while lifting it from the ground they were shot down iby a conceoled party of armed civilians. ' Only one escaped to narrate the re-' volting crime. In connection with the Sinn Fein outrage twelve arrests have been made in Glasgow, including a priest. The police _raided a Catholic chapel, and there was a serious disturbance during the raid. ' i
