Show are expected to come in freely this week, and by the dosing date, February 19, the various classes should be well filled. The schedule this year is full of interest for intending exhibitors and town dwellers will be enabled to take a greater parjb by reason of the fact that a: comprehensive class for fruit and vegetables has been included. Classes for school children, invalid soldiers, amateur photographers, and fancy work are also included, while no doubt the ladies will show keen competition in the classes for foodstuffs. The great purpose of the show, however, is to foster and encourage the dairying industry, and with so many beautiful animate in South Taranaki it behoves every farmer, who can do so to exhibit as much stock as possible, and when the entries close it is to be hoped that there will be a record number of entries.
