TENNIS.
Both clubs have had a busy time with outside matches, than which nothing tends to improve and to increase interest in the game. Waverley were quite too good for Hawera Club, as was fully to be expected with Wallace, Dickie, and the Wybournes in the team.
It is very unusual to see a tie in an inter-club match. This happened between Park and Patea. Each scored the same numher of matches, while in games there were only about six between them.
