INDIAN WAR MEMORIAL.
DELHI, Feb. 10- ! The Duke of Connaught laid the foundation stone of an All-Indian war ■ memorial at new Delhi in the presence of Indian and representatives of Tm -; perial service troops. Th© Duke read the King's message paying a tribute to the BOjOOO spldiers and 850 Indian officers killed. He also conferred the title "Royal" t-n eight Indian units, and the Duke was made • Colonel-in-Chief of tlie 47th Sikhs.
