Asked by a, correspondent what £tentinj.ent he found amongst business .. people towards -Britain/ he replied that liis impression was that thoughytrade rivalry- and occasional personal differences do and will arise, an overwhelming majority of the people consider the cultivation of friendship towards Britain to be the most vital question in American foreign policy.
