%100 Yards Intermediate Girls' Championship of New Zealand—Miss Shand (Canterbury) 1, Miss Walrond (Auckland) 2, Miss Hoeft (Canterbury) 3. This was one of the best races of the tournament. Won by three yards, Miss Walrond beating Miss Hoeft by an inch. Time, 7min. 12-ssec—equal to the New Zealand record held by Miss Walrond.
