"PRINCESS CHRYSANTHEMUM."
BY HAWERA TECHNICAL SCHOOL PUPILS.
In the Opera House to-night there will 15e a grand performance on an elaborate scale of the pretty Japanese operetta "Princess Chrysanthemum," by the pupils of the Hawera Technical School. Under their energetic principal, Mr Gray + they have been practising assiduously for a considerable time, and the final practice shows that they are in capital form and confident of giving an excellent account of themselves. The dressing and scenic effects are being given special attention, and nothing is being omitted that will add to the success of the performance. It is expected there will be a very large audience, who can be assured of an interestiilg evening.
