In the course of a letter to the Mayor, Mr H. E. Moston, Deputy j Housing Superintendent, states: "We are now negotiating with the Education Department for the lease of a portion of the Education Reserve. Meanwhile we are calling tenders in various towns throughout New Zealand for the erection of additional dwellings, and have included five at Hawera, being the balance of the sections available." / The Marton Dairy Factory Co., Ltd., have disposed of their output of cheese for the coming season at Is 2d per lb free on board ocean steamer. This will enable the company to pay at least 2s Gd per lb to suppliers of the butter fat (says the Marton correspondent of the Wanganui Chronicle).
