The,team will be accorded a civic welcome to-morrow, and the first match of the New Zealand tour will be against Auckland on Saturday. The manager of the team, Mr S. Foster, in an interview, said he con^sidered the team was the fastest that had ever left England. He did not think they had produced their best form yet. England -should have won the |irst test match in Australia, but played much below its true form. For their loss of the second test there was 310 excuse, and the best team won.
