PRINCE JOACHIM.
BERLIN, July 18. Prince Joachim had been gambling heavily in Switzerland. Sensational revelations were promised in divorce proceedings, which Princess Maria of Anhault had instituted. He shot himself in his room at the Villa Liegnitz. He was found lying in a pool of blood. His attendants first announced that the injuries were due to a motor accident, but later admitted that it was suicide.
