PEKING, July 18. The Chihilites were severely defeated by the Anfuites. Six thousand of the latter hastily retreated toward Peking and are now' looting at Nanyuan, a few miles from the capital. All gates of the capital have been closed. It is reported that the Chihilites recaptured Yanthun.
