NEW FORD VENTURES
NEW YORK, May 1. The Ford Motor Company aws. the firm of Henry Ford and Son, which latter is the corporate name ©f the tractor manufacturing branch of the Ford industries, will be consolidated and reorganised with a capital of ,£20,000,000 to undertake the manufacture of aircraft. This represents an increase in capital of the joint companies from £600,000, and it is understood that the entire stock of the new organisation will be held by Mr Ford, Ms wife and his son. It has "been known for $ome time that Mr Ford purposed to undertake the development of aircraft, and now it is revealed that the new concern will also manufacture internal combustioE locomotives and petroleum-driven tramway cars.
