A half-witted druggist purchased a six-chamber revolver and went to Saint Froud. brandishing the weapon and seeking Marshal Foch. He was arrested.

LONDON, July 16. Lloydsl merchant shipping statistics show 3,578,000 tons building in the United Kingdom at the end of June, an increase of 184,000 tons as compared w^th March. The total building abroad is 4,142,----000 tons, a decrease of 405,000 tons, due to a large decrease in the "building of tonnage in the United States.
