The following will represent Kaponga against Eltham, at Kaponga, on Thursday : T. Bennie, Humphires, Thoumine, Foreman, Nichol, Guy, W. Bennie, McCarty j Priest, Briggs, and Faweett. Emergency: Foster. RIVALS CLUB. A very enthusiastic meeting of the Hawera Rivals Hockey Club was held last night in Mr G. Sage's shop, Princes street. Those present were: Messrs McLachlan (in the chair), Young, Cressey, Catran, Foden, Brown, Culj iinan, Vowless, Liddell, Ferry, Sage, and Burgess.
It was decided to have two referees in each match for the remainder of the matches; also that the B team should play in white shirts on Wednesday next.
The medal donated by.Mr A. Bone is for the most improved player in B team, and Mr Ferry's . medal for the most improved player in A team. Mr Sutton's trophy is-to go to the player who puts up the best performance in the seven-aside tournament at the end of the season.
" ? A vote of thanks was passed to Mr Catran for supplying oranges last Wednesday. Messrs Cujlinane, Burgess and Cressey were appointed selectors for the A team.
A vote of thanks to the chair and to Mr Sage for use of his office concluded the meeting.
