MISHAP TO AEROPLANE

GISBORNE, May 13. The first aviation display given in. Gisborne, which took place to-day, was marred by a mishap to the machine during the third passenger flight. When the machine was ux> above £00 feet the petrol pipe burst, causing a stoppage of the engine, and & forced landing. This was skilfully effected by Lieut. J. Woods (the ?ilot), with the result that neither he nor the pssseu^er was injured, but slight damage was done to the machine.
