There are intense rejoicings in Schleswig, though the final result of the plebiscite is not: deeiaw»d yet. Crowds thronged the streets of all the towns and villages awaiting the return®. I When it seemed a re-union with Den-1 mark was assured, the Schleswigers' made a festival. Bands played the1 Allies' anthems,, and the inhabitants! hung out the national flags.
