BUTTER PRICES
PROSPECTS IN BRITAIN. BY CABLE—PB ESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT (Received Feb. 14, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 12. It is understood that the retail price of imported butter is shortly to be advanced to 3s per lb. The trade infers from this that the Government will be likely to advance the price to producers if the purchases of next season's output are arranged.
