OHANGAI.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) A very enjoyable evening -was spent last Tuesday, when the many friends of Mr and Mrs Rickard assembled to bid them farewell, as they have sold their farm and are leaving the district. The music was played by Mr W. Wallace, and songs were given by Messrs J. Dyson, B. Scanlon, A. Notman, and L. Rogers. After supper Mr B. Scanlon, on behalf of those present, presented Mr and Mrs Rickard with a beautiful cruet. Mr Rickard suitably responded in a few nicelychosen words. In making the presentation Mr B. Scanlon stated that they could not let them depart without showing- their good feeling.
