SPECIAL ADVERTISEMENTS. PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OP INTENTION TO STRIKE RATES. TyrOICE, is hereby given that it is the -*-* intention of the Patea County Council at it meeting to be held on MONDAY, September 8, 1919, at 11 a.m., and in pursuance and exercise of the powers invested in it by the Counties' Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, and the Rating Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, to make and levy the undermentioned general rates under Sections 117 and 118, Counties' Act, 1908, and Section 18, Counties' Act, 1913. Such rates to be for the .period commencing April 1, 1919, and ending March 31, 1920, to be assessed on the capital value on the Valuation Roll of all the rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County of Patea', viz:— For Waverley Riding—A general rate of $d (three-farthings) in the £. For Moumohaki Riding—A general rate of fd (three-farthings) in the £. For Otaia Riding—A general rate of f<3 (three-farthings) in the £. For Kapara Riding—A general rate of Id (one penny) in the £. Such Rates to be due and payable in ONE sum at the County Offices, Patea,' on the Ist day of October, 1919. i The Rate Book and Valuation Rolls containing particulars are open for inspection at the County Offices, Patea, aforesaid, during office hours.
