A- Moari named Raupa Wharemate was arrested by Constable Wiiletts yesterday afternoon. on a charge of having stolen 16s» the property of Maisie Jaoomb, High street. The accused was brought before Messrs W. Cowern and H. Graves. J's.P., in the Police Court this morning, when he entered a plea of not guilty. Seregant Henry asked for a remand until Friday. It appeared he said, that accused had absconded from the Training Farm at I.^vin and he proposed to get into touch with the institution to *cc if they would take the lad back again.
