THE AUSTRIAN TREATY
B. CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYEIGHT (Received Aug. 27. 9.5 a.m.) PARIS, Aug. 26. The reply of the Peace Conference to Austria declares that Austria's prewar debt and war expenses shall be borne pro rata by Austria and the countries that were lately Austrian, but Austria alone shall make reparation. It is expected that Dr Renner wiU sign the Treaty on September 3.
