Persian consulate attacked

BOLSHEVIST RED TERROR AT ABMAVIN.

Advices have been received that when the Bolshevists occupied Armavin in Armenia, they hauled down the flag of the Persian Consulate, shot down the Consul, though he was wearing official uniform, and mutilated his body and looted buildings, taking, much valuaible property. They also machine-gunned 600 Persians and Mohammedans who were sheltering in the Consulate, killing or wounding them en masse.
