PALMERSTON N., Aug. 23. The Wanganui and Manawatu representative match wa 8 played here to-day in fine weather there being a largo attendance. The game resultd in a, draw. 6ix points being scored by eaek team. On the call of time Wanganui had a shot from a free kick and although Carroll touched the ball, the referee awarded a goal. The referee's decision was strongly commented upon.
