ADDITIONAL POINTS
Proposes to use accumulated surpluses of £15,000,000 to strengthen sinking fund for liquidation of public debt. Suggests restoration of old cadet system and continuance of territorial system. Government should purchase all flourmills, and the price of bread should be fixed by Board of Trade. All Government ventures, including life insurance and public trust, should pay the same taxation as other concerns of a similar nature conducted by private enterprise. Proportional representation should be enacted, to apply in the first instance to city and suburban electorates. Advances for workers' homes should be increased to -£600. Old age pensions should be granted irrespective of income or capital up to a reasonable amount. Public service superannuation should include larger benefits to widows.
