ALLIED ARMISTICE ACCEPTED
BELAKUN FLEES TO VIENNA
BY CABLE--PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT BUDAPEST, Aug. 2. A wireless message states that the Italian military mission, which is representing the Allies, has informed M. Clemenceau that the new Hungarian Government accepts the Anglo-Italian proposals for an armistice, and the provisional fixing^of a line of occupation until the decision of the president of the Peace Conference is kno\jn. Hungary asks that the line be drawn at the Theiss river. COPENHAGEN. Aug. 2. It i 9 officially confirmed that Belakun has resigned and that Beidl has formed a Cabinet and issued a proclamation stating that the Government's main objects were to maintain order and negotiate with th e Allies. (Times.) LONDON, Aug. 3. Belakun fled to Vienna, where he was interned. Szamuely, escaping laden with money, was arrested, whilst Wiener and Neustadt committed suicide.
