Normanby journeyed to Opunake, where they were set down to play Opunake, but on arrival there was no third team available. Normanby therefore won by default. A scratch game wag then arranged between Normanby and Opunake Juniors. The latter team won by a narrow irargin of three points. Score wasOpunake 3, Normanby nil. Mr J. Colman refereed with every satisfaction to both teams.

In the vsenior games, after an interesting and fairly fast game, Star beat Okato 14 to 5; Rahotu and Old Boys played a tie—6 all. In the junior division. High School (8) beat Star 11. (0); Lepperton (23) ueat Tukapa (0).
