HAWERA 11. (16) v. WAIMATE 11. (5).
Hawera travelled to Manaia to fulfil their fixture with Waimate, and had a good win by a margin of eleven points. They proved quite too good for their opponents and played a capital game. Four tries were scored by them A two of which were converted, while Waimate crossed the Hawera line once, the kick being successful. Mr A. H. Guy acted as referee. Opunake 11. forfeited to Okaiawa, as they were unable to get a team away.
