LONDON, June 14. There has been an unprecedented and enthusiastic rush to subscribe to the Victory "War Loan.

LONDON, June 10. The British Food Ministry estimates its turnover for the year ended March, 1919, at £900,000,000.
The Admiralty has ordered the immediate demobilisation of 7000 temporary naval officers.
The American Trade Commissioner in London reports that many Lancashire cotton textile manufacturers who are ■unwilling to depend exclusively on the United States for cotton have been sending commissions to Japan, India, and South America in order to find new sources of supply.
