* MEETING AT PATE A. The third annual meeting of the Patea iiiHo Association wxis held on Tuesday, and the Press states that it was a satisfactorily managed affair. The shooting was keenly contested, ties being th« order of the day. Only -one "possible'l was made, .that of Bfm. W. B. Smith at 500 yards. The Championship Belt was won by President Palmer, of the local club, and.proved a popular win, a large aatifcDurst of cheering greeting Mr Palmer as he stepped forward tf> receive the belt.
