NOTES FOR MAY

The following" 'ladies assisted Mrs Barton at the club during May: Mesdames Pinch, Cowpeiy Tiddy, " Syme, Pratt, Williams, Povvdrell, Hawkin, Bennett, J. Campbell, Robertson, l-'ease, Harrop, Frisk, Ferguson, Douglas, G. A. Burgess, Symes, A. Barley, French, Haselden, Allhuson, A. Good, Misses King, Larcom (2), Cunnabell, BradshaWj, Pettigrew (2), Gower, Ferguson, Burgess and York.

Mrs Barton also wishes to thank Misses N. King and K. Good, who each took charge of the tea list for a week.

fcadies who have not given tea, but who would, like to' do so,' are invited to give their names to the.secretary, Mrs French, or to Mrs Barton, or Mrs E. Dixon.

The committee will be glad of further contributions for the library, as the present stock of books has been read through.

The secretary acknowledges the following gifts with thanks: Magazines from Mrs Kimbell, Mr. J. Kelly, and Miss Beamish; books from Mr Arthur Worsop and Mr C. Russell; milk supply for month, Mr Champion; Auckland Weekly News each week from Mrs King, Victoria Street.
