At the suggestion of the New Zealand coal mine owners, the proprietors of the Green Island collieries have ngreed) to meet the miners in conference. The miners have stood out for a conference all through the trouble The conference will probably be held on luesday next. WELLINGTON^ May 22. Delegates of the New Zealand Miners' Federation met in Wellington recently, and they have prepared demands for improved conditions ofemployment and increased' pay.
