The Otahuhu Trotting Club's winter meeting concluded in fine weather, before a large attendance. Thfe track was in fair condition. Hardy Wilkete attempted to lower the trotting record of 2min. 11 4-ssec. for the mile ? but failed by Bsec. The totalisator handled £25,677 10s, making £50,045 for the. meeting. Results: Special Handicap—s Gold Rod (Paull) 1, 8 Nikora 2, 3-Aranui 3. Won by two lengths, half a length between the next. Time, 3.51 2-5. Newanariket Handicap—4 Temple (Cutts) 1, Jack of Diamonds. 2, 5 Flora Dillon 3. Won by two lengths, a neck between the next. T'me 3.42 4-5. Manukau Handicap—-6 Ivan Hupn (McNaughton) 1, 2 Miss Salisbury 2, 5 Rio Grande 3. Won by ten lengths, three lengths between the next. Time, 4.54. Dominion Handicap—4 Dean Dillon (Fleming) 1, 6 Lieutenant 2, 7 Harold Devon 3. Won by two lengths, the same between the next.. Time, 4.40 1-5. Sylvia Park Handicap—9 George K. (Paull) 1, 1 Miss Rolfe 2, 11 Kempsey 3. Won by three-quarter of a length, half a length between the next. Time, 2.25. Governor's Handicap—4 Lord Rose i 1, 3 George Akwood 2, 6 Ruanui 3. Won by two lengths, one length between the next. Time, 4.42 1-5 Royal Oak Handicap—l Gold Girl (Kinnimont) 1, 6 Alf McKinney 2, 4 Eccentric 3. Won by a head. Time, 2.15 2-5., Railway Handicap—4 Huon Grattan (McMaster) 1, 3 Shannagolden 2, 15 Kempsey 3 Won by a neck, three lengths between the next. A Sydney cable message 'itatee that owing to heavy rain the races had to be postponed from yesterday until today.
