UNEMPLOYED SOLDIERS

CHRISTCHURCH, May 21. At the meeting of the Canterbury District Repatriation Board to-night Mr Leadley, secretary of the Returned Soldiers' Association, entered an emphatic^ protest against the retention of girls in positions previously filled by men who had gone to the front, and who were now in need of employment.
