A conference of the group staff in Taranaki is being held in Hawera to.day to consider matters relative to new | Territorial and Senior Cadet training j year, which commences on June i. j Captain BraddeU, N.Z.S.C., ha s arrived in^ Hawera to take over the duties i of group commander during the temporary absence of Major Cox, who is in hospital at Christchurch. The concert arranged in aid of the (Catholic Soldiers' Memorial Fund in the Catholic -school to-night promises to •be a great success. A good programme ha*; been arranged,, and it is expected 'there will be a large attendance. STATISTICS WILL SHOW.
