AUCKLAND, May 21. At the Supreme Court, John Davies, a middle-agetl "man, was sentenced to five years' gaol for indecent assault on a little girl. Mr Justice Stringer said .that the frequency, of such cases led him to think that judges should seriously consider flogging in addition to imprisonment.
