SEVERAL CASES ON A TROOPSHIP.

AUCKLAND, Mar. 3. The Defence authorities have been advised that 58 cases of influenza have occurred among the men of draft 219 on the steamer Port Melbourne. The cases developed since the vessel left England, but so far as is known none are serious. Should extended quarantine be necessary the men will be quarantined at Motuihi Island.
