LONDON, Feb. 13. German demobilisation is almost completed, except as to 100,000 still in the East. The 1916-17-classes will be disbanded on February 15, and only the 1918-19 men, numbering 459,000 are left as a standing army, in addition to the volunteer army of 300,000, which is being formed, of which the eastern frontier defence force consists of 90,000. The. discipline of the volunteers is bad and the recruiting apathetic—Aus.N.Z.. Cable Association.
