GERMANS DEPORTED FROM BRITISH EMPIRE. QUESTION OF RETURN NOT DECIDED. (Received Nov. 22, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 20. In the House of Commons, Mr Macpherson stated that the 1914-15 star will be given to local representatives or next-of-kin of those who fell at Gallipoli, according as the soldier died testate or intestate. Mr Bonar Law stated that it was impossible at present to decide the question of Germans' return to parts of the British Empire whence they had been deported.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
