CONFERENCE RESOLUTIONS

(Received Sept. 28, 11.40 a m.) . LONDON, Sept. 27. Ihe National Liberal Federation overwhelmingly rejected a motion in favor of sympathetic consideration of peace overtures. :.

The Federation adopted motions favoring a league of nations, and demanding abolition of conscription after the war and the establishment of Home Bule without delay. Mr Samuel, in moving a resolution urging subordination of all other purposes to effective ..prosecution of the war, denounced a tariff war after th© war. Germany, he said, must be fought til] she abandons militarism and must be punished for her crimes but we would not fight in order to establish commercial monopolies' though Germany must await her turn tor raw material.
