J. Sale at 1 o'clock. This is Mr Power's first sale, he having to sell on account of his son going to the war. The cows are a really nice line, very close up, some have already calved, and they have been very well cared for and fed through the winter. They have already been culled for this season's milking.

Nearly 30 per cent, of the herd are heifers picked from his best cows. Several of the older cows will have calved by the day of sale. The herd are all in calf to either of the two pedigree Friesian bulls mentioned. Full extended pedigrees of these bulls will be given at the sale. He has never shown or systematically tested any of his herd, but is confident that should the lot of his cows be put under the S.O.R. tests the majority would average well over 4001bs butterfat. The cattle are in splendid condition, and will be sold to the highest bidder.
