FIVE HOUR'S FIGHT WITH ÜBOAT.
WASHINGTON, July 31
An oil tanker that arrived at an Atlantic port reports having had a fivehours' fight with a TJ-boat, 600 miles' off the coast. The U-boat fired 200 shots The tanker replied, and finally escaped. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Association.
